چکیده
A bstract In this paper, we consider rotating multistate boson stars with quartic self-interactions. contrast to the nodeless quartic-boson in [1], self-interacting (SIMBSs) have two types of nodes, including 1 S 2 and P states. We show mass M SIMBSs as a function synchronized frequency ? , nonsynchronized for three different cases. Moreover, case coexisting states potential, study versus angular momentum J . Furthermore, cases, analyze phase both ground first excited SIMBSs. also calculate maximum value coupling parameter ?, find ? exists finite range.

Boson Stars with Self-Interacting Quantum Scalar Fields
The Klein-Gordon-Einstein equations of classical real scalar fields have timedependent solutions (periodic in time). We show that quantum real scalar fields can form non-oscillating (static) solitonic objects, which are quite similar to the solutions describing boson stars formed with classical and quantum complex scalar fields (the latter will be studied in this paper). We numerically analyze ...
متن کاملMaximum Mass of Boson Stars Formed by Self-Interacting Scalar Fields
We make analytic derivation for maximum masses of stable boson stars formed by scalar fields with any higher order self-interactions and show that those are equivalent to numerical results. It is shown that the contribution of the higher order self-interaction terms to the maximum mass decreases as (m/Mp) 2 power. متن کاملAngularly excited and interacting boson stars and Q-balls
We study angularly excited as well as interacting non-topological solitons, so-called Qballs and their gravitating counterparts, so-called boson stars in 3 + 1 dimensions. Q-balls and boson stars carry a non-vanishing Noether charge and arise as solutions of complex scalar field models in a flat space-time background and coupled minimally to gravity, respectively. We present examples of interac...
متن کاملDynamical boson stars
The idea of stable, localized bundles of energy has strong appeal as a model for particles. In the 1950s, John Wheeler envisioned such bundles as smooth configurations of electromagnetic energy that he called geons, but none were found. Instead, particle-like solutions were found in the late 1960s with the addition of a scalar field, and these were given the name boson stars. Since then, boson ...
متن کاملSpontaneous Scalarization and Boson Stars
We study spontaneous scalarization in Scalar-Tensor boson stars. We find that scalarization does not occur in stars whose bosons have no self-interaction. We introduce a quartic self-interaction term into the boson Lagrangian and show that when this term is large, scalarization does occur. Strong self-interaction leads to a large value of the compactness (or sensitivity) of the boson star, a ne...
